Order and Invoice reference ID change

PrestaShop generate order reference codes as random string consists of alphabetic characters. This module ensures the generation of order reference codes according to your specific requests, including setting the numbering of invoices and delivery notes.

  • setup custom numeric, or non-numeric (it can be combined) order reference prefix, invoices and order slip ID's, including using dynamic date & time variables

Module installation and testing

1. Upload folder "cmchangeref" into /modules/ folder via FTP or use module upload tool in Back Office » Modules to upload module package.
2. Install module in: Back Office » Modules
3. As the module uses override, please check on FTP server access for writing into following folders and files (CHMOD 777):
   1. /override/classes/order
   2. /override/classes/order/Order.php
   3. /override/classes/order/OrderInvoice.php
   4. /override/classes/order/OrderPayment.php
   5. /cache/class_index.php
   This step is optional. We recommended check this step to avoid problems with module installation..
4. After successful installation go into module settings and setup required options.
5. Create an testing order and check that everything is set as desired.
6. After this action will be module ready to work in live environment.
7. If any problem occurred, check your settings data filled into module first and try module on clean PrestaShop installation. If problem still persist, contact module author.
